Chemical composition of melons

According to Rosete A. G. Kohn, Carlos R. Mauch, Tânia B. G. A. Morselli, Cesar V. Rombaldi, Willian S. Barros & V. Sorato they have done two tables analyzing the variance for the studied post-harvest parameters in the production of the melon hybrid Goldex,in organic and conventional production systems and the mean contents of total sugars (TSug, % m m-1); reducing sugars (RSug, % m m-1); sucrose (SUC, % m m-1); total phenolic compounds (TPC, mg GAE 100g-1); total carotenoids (TC, mg 100g-1); ascorbic acid (ASC, mg 100g-1); folates (FOL, µg 100g-1); antioxidant capacity (AC, µg TE g-1) and the respective contrasts (C) obtained for the melon hybrid Goldex®, cultivated in organic and conventional systems
